I am the Principal Adviser at AgeWise and have been helping retired and aged care clients for 15 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My journey began in the corporate world, where I worked as an Engineer, Project Manager, and Product Manager. However, I decided I wanted a change, to work one-on-one to help individuals rather than being just a cog in a big company (Death by powerpoint….).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, in 2011, I decided to pursue my passion and retrain as a Financial Planner. Since then, I have been specialising in helping Aged Care and Retirement clients, and in 2018, proudly launched AgeWise Financial Planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My qualifications include a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and I am a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), as recognised by the FAAA. I successfully completed the ASIC Financial Adviser Exam and have a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), just for fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Susan is part of the Aged Care Guru’s<\/a> adviser network and is recognised as an accredited Retirement Living + Aged Care Specialist<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been working with AgeWise since 2023, initially as a Paraplanner, Financial Planning Assistant and currently a Provisional Financial Adviser . I am in the final stages of my supervised Professional Year and will soon become a second fully licensed Financial Planner at AgeWise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 20 years\u2019 experience across both corporate and small business environments, I bring a broad skill set developed through roles in customer service, project management, and senior management. I genuinely enjoy building relationships with both new and existing clients and take pride in helping them understand their financial options, particularly during significant or challenging life transitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have completed a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and successfully passed the ASIC Financial Adviser Exam. My qualifications also include an Associate Diploma in Banking and Finance and a Master of Business Administration. I am currently undertaking additional study to gain Self\u2011Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) accreditation, further strengthening the advice and support I provide to clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over 20 years of experience in the technical and communications aspects of aged care, I was previously dedicated to installing and servicing nurse-call, security, and telephony solutions in healthcare and aged care homes. Since 2020, I enjoy embracing the personal side of assisting aged care and retiree clients, always ready to lend a hand with a welcoming smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
