Your adviser – Susan Cooper  CFP®

Susan is our Principal Adviser and has been helping retired and aged care clients for over 10 years.

Her journey began in the corporate world, where she worked as an Engineer, Project Manager, and Product Manager. However, she realised her true calling was to work closely with individuals and provide personalised assistance.

In 2011, she decided to pursue her passion and became a Financial Planner. Since then, she has been specialising in Aged Care and Retirement clients, and in 2018, she proudly launched AgeWise Financial Planning.

Susan’s extensive qualifications include a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), and she holds the esteemed title of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). She has successfully completed the FASEA Financial Adviser exam and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

Furthermore, Susan is part of the Aged Care Guru’s adviser network and is recognised as an accredited Retirement Living + Aged Care Specialist.

Financial Planning Assistant – Sonia Amsing

Sonia has been working with AgeWise since 2023 as a Paraplanner and Financial planning assistant. She is excited to commence her professional year in 2025 as the final stage to becoming a fully accredited Financial Planner.

Bringing a wealth of experience from diverse roles in both corporates and small businesses, Sonia has worked in Customer Service, Project Management, and overall Management for more than 20 years. She loves meeting AgeWise clients and helping them understand all their options, especially during challenging transitions.

Sonia has just successfully completed a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning plus she has an Associate Diploma in Banking and Finance as well as a Masters of Business Administration.

 

Client Services Manager – Wayne Hackett

Meet Wayne, our warm and friendly AgeWise Client Services Manager!

He’s the go-to person for all your advice implementation and administration needs.

With over 20 years of experience in the technical and communications aspects of aged care, Wayne was previously dedicated to installing and servicing nurse-call, security, and telephony solutions in healthcare and aged care homes. Now, he’s thrilled to be embracing the personal side of assisting aged care and retiree clients, always ready to lend a hand with a welcoming smile.

Wayne holds a Diploma of Financial Planning.
